Do you think about your health? What steps do you take to make sure you stay healthy?

I think about my health all the time. I have recently just started to watch what i eat and learned that i cant go to sleep right after i ate.(No more 4th meals at Taco Bell) About 8 weeks ago, i joined weight watchers. By join weight watchers i have found myself enjoying eating fruits and vegetables. I can still eat out but it has made me more aware of my portions and what i was eating. So for all of you out there trying to lose that weight, i would highly recommend doing it with weight watchers.

Could I Quit My Day Job

No... I don't think i could really afford to quit my job (I love to shop too much). I take care of 5 handicapped ladies and they depend on me being there to care for them. Many people probably are reading this and thinking that its a very hard job, well no i don't really think so. I do basically the same things that i do for myself, ie: shower, cook dinner, take them shopping, clean their house. Its really a fun job, i get paid to take them to the mall, go to the movies, and teach them the basic skills of being independent.

Tips on Saving your Cell Phone Battery Life

As a young adult my cell phone plays a very important role in my everyday life. I use it to get on the Internet, to take pictures, to text, and to just talk on the phone. Many of those things gets halted since the battery life doesn't last very long. Here are so tips that you can do to prevent your cell phone from dying:
1. Don't Leave Your Cell Phone in the Bathroom While Showering
Although many of us are so obsessed with using a cell phone that we cannot bear to miss a call while we are in the shower, the truth is that leaving your cell phone in the bathroom while you are taking a shower is not a good idea. When the battery is exposed to moisture, it becomes weaker and weaker. Whether you should get out of the shower to answer the phone with wet hands, if you should drop the phone in a puddle on the bathroom floor, or even if your phone is exposed to a lot of steam - this is not healthy in the least for your phone. Keep in mind that this also applies to other situations where your battery may be exposed to moisture, such as at the swimming pool or talking on the phone in the rain.
2. Don't Charge Your Cell Phone Until the Battery is Low
If you have five battery bars on your cell phone, you should not charge your cell phone when you are at four full battery bars. Instead, you should wait until you only have one or two bars left. If your cell phone does not need to be charged yet, why charge it? Some people can go between two to three days before needing to charge their battery, while others can only go a few hours. It all depends on how much you use your cell phone, but you should only charge your battery when you need to.
3. Don't Charge Your Cell Phone Overnight
Many of us today doesn't have time to sit and wait for a cell phone to charge for two to three hours, so we decide to charge it overnight. A common rumor, whether or not it be true, is that this not good for your battery. Since its pluged into your outlet its still charging, and with each charge the battery life becomes smaller and smaller. You would not want to fill your car with gas if it had a full tank, would you? The same concept holds true for your cell phone battery.
4. Don't Stop Charging Until the Battery is Fully Recharged
Many people decide that they are going to charge their battery a little bit right now, and then finish charging it later on. However, this is not the way that it should work. Most cell phone experts would recommend you to continue charging your battery until the process is complete. For whatever reason, interrupting the battery from being recharged to the fullest tends to have a negative effect on the overall life of your battery.
5. Don't Use a Car Charger For Your Cell Phone
While you have probably thought nothing of using your car charger before, it really is something that you should not even consider doing. It is estimated that most cell phone batteries, when they are taken care of, can last between two and three years. However, when you opt for the convenience of using of a car charger, the amount of time that your battery lasts can be greatly reduced. Every time that you plug your cell phone into the charger and start up the engine, this takes a toll on your battery. While it may be okay to do every once in awhile, it should not become a regular habit. If you are going to do it, you should allow it to charge the whole way through, rather than starting up the engine every so often to continue the charging process.

Tips for Saving Money

We all have problems with saving money, maybe it was early in your life or currently, but here are a few tips on saving money, based on advice from financial experts:

Set a budget
At the beginning of every month, sit down and look at how much money you'll have coming in. Subtract the amount you'll owe for bills that are due _ and make a plan for what's left over. It's a simple idea. But the trick is actually doing it, keeping track of what you spend and resisting the urge to pull out the credit or debit card when you can't afford something.

Save early, save often
Even if you're only able to put away $10 or $20 a week now, do it. By starting at a younger age, you'll reap the benefits of what Bill Slater, a vice president at MetLife, calls "the magic of compound interest." For instance, if a 25-year-old deposited $20 a week into a retirement account until age 34, that money would, thanks to compound interest, be worth more at age 65 than $20 deposited weekly at the same rate from age 35 all the way to 65.
Automatic deductions are your friend

Having money automatically deducted from your paycheck into savings and retirement accounts assures that you'll actually put money away. And experts say that, in time, you'll get used to doing without the money. Some also suggest making sure that it's not too easy to transfer money from your savings to your checking account _ or to use a debit card to tap into your savings when your willpower is low.

Think retirement now
With fewer employers offering pensions, finding alternative forms of saving is especially important. And, Slater says, opening an account to pad your pension is generally a good idea, too. Enroll in your 401(k), especially if your employer offers matching funds (what some financial experts like to call "free money"). Other options include a Roth IRA or mutual funds.
